Weight under control - your path to healthy habits

In this 8-week online course, you will learn how your body works and how you can do a lot for your well-being with small steps. You'll learn about nutrition and weight management in simple terms - and try out new small habits that suit you every week. In this way, you can balance your weight step by step. The course follows the recommendations of the German Nutrition Society (DGE) and helps you to find healthy routines that really fit into your everyday life - without any diet or pressure to perform.

Week 1: The underestimated key - understanding glucose

Why your blood sugar is the secret lever for more energy, mood and health

We start with the basics: what is glucose anyway, why does it affect everyone - and why is it so crucial for your well-being, especially in midlife? You'll learn how your blood sugar affects hormones, energy levels, cravings and sleep - and what you can actively do now to regain control.

Week 2: Diet for stable glucose levels

What you eat, how you eat - and when: everything affects your blood sugar

This week it's all about food! We'll show you which foods keep your blood sugar stable - and which ones send your energy levels soaring and plummeting. You'll get simple tips for everyday life, recipe inspiration and find out why the order in which you eat can be crucial.

Week 3: Exercise & blood sugar

Small movement, big effect - how your body processes sugar better

This is about targeted exercise - without pressure, without perfection. You will learn how even a short walk after a meal can massively improve your glucose levels. And how you can make your everyday life blood sugar-friendly even with little time.

Week 4: Nutrition & exercise in harmony

The best combination for your body - how to make the most of food and activity together

This week brings the two power factors together: Diet + exercise. You'll get tips on how to optimally balance the two to better regulate cravings, mood swings and weight - with minimal effort and maximum effect.

Week 5: Stress management & emotional eating

When feelings control your appetite - and what you can do about it

Stress, frustration or boredom - all of these can affect our blood sugar and our eating behavior. This week is particularly important for anyone who "eats emotionally" or regularly reaches for chocolate or coffee in the afternoon. You will be given tools for stress reduction, mindfulness and self-regulation.

Week 6: Sleep & glucose - the underestimated connection

How restful sleep improves your glucose levels (and your mood!)

Too little or poor sleep can throw your blood sugar levels completely out of sync. This week is all about healthy sleep: from sleep hygiene to tips for falling asleep - and what you can do during the day to regenerate better at night.

Week 7: Your individual glucose schedule

What works for you - and how you can continue on your path in the long term

You have now gathered a lot of knowledge. Now it's time to develop your own roadmap. Which tips have helped you the most? What suits your everyday life? We will help you to consolidate your own strategy - sustainably and realistically.

Week 8: Your personal health compass

A holistic view of yourself - with clarity, self-confidence and new routines

Finally, we look back together - and forward. You'll be surprised how much can change in 8 weeks. You will be given tools to help you stick with your new routines even after the course is over. For more ease, energy and balance in your everyday life.

Answers to your questions about the course

How do I complete the course?

To successfully complete the course, you must have completed at least six of the eight units of approx. 60 minutes each. After completing a module, it takes seven days for the next module to be activated for you. You have 6 months from booking to complete the course. Our prevention course modules can only be completed in the Hello Inside mobile app on your smartphone/tablet. You need iOS 14.0 or higher or Android 5.0 or higher. All prevention courses are only available in German. The individual modules are accompanied by emails, quizzes in the app and optional further information. After completing each module, you will receive an email with information and a link to the next module 7 days later.

What do I need for the refund?

For reimbursement, submit the proof of purchase together with the confirmation of participation for the completed prevention course to your health insurance company. You will receive the proof of purchase by email immediately after your purchase. You will receive the certificate of attendance after completing the 6th unit of the prevention course. Please note that your health insurance company may limit the reimbursement of prevention measures per person to 1 - 2 measures per year. You can obtain more information on this directly from your health insurance provider.

I have private insurance, live in Austria or Switzerland and am under 18 years old. Can I still take the course?

In principle, anyone can purchase and use the prevention course access for 99 euros. Usually, only those who have statutory health insurance in Germany and are over 18 years old can apply for reimbursement of the course fee. There are also some private health insurance companies that (partially) reimburse prevention measures. It is best to ask your health insurance company directly whether they subsidize prevention courses certified by the ZPP.
